Arrays Functions PHP Essential Training

In the previous lesson we'll have a clear idea about what is the Array and its functionalities. Now we're going to learn the some advanced functions and possibilities can done by the arrays. In general the arrays more useful than the other variables. The arrays has an endless functions to do with the data we handle in everyday apps. Let's see some of the main advanced Array Functions PHP Essential Training.
We can count the number of values stored in a particular array at a certain period of time. Consider the following example how to do that. (Before do this just copy and paste the basic HTML tags in your PHP file.)
$array1 = array(4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24);
// Count the number of values stored in the array named array1
echo "Number of Values in an Array: " . count($array1);
// Here we initialize the 6 values in the variable for Array Functions PHP Essential Training

We can find the Maximum and the Minimum value of the array from the large data collection from the single variable. Here the PHP is goes more developer friendly to access the function name like min and max.
// To check the maximum value of the array from the large list
echo "Maximum Value of an Array: " . max($array1);
Array Functions PHP Essential Training
To find the minimum value in the list we have the similar function like this,
// To check the minimum value of the array from the large list
echo "Minimum Value of an Array: " . min($array1);

Now we are going to discuss very important function which is we use mostly. They are sort and Reverse Sort of an array results. The sorting is nothing but arrange the values in a ascending order like we do in a database.
// Sorting the available values in a particular array
sort($array1);
// Print the all values with their positions in the array.
print_r($array1);
Array Functions PHP Essential Training
The another function of the previous sort function is the reverse sort. It is used to give all the values in reverse order from the array.
//Reverse Sorting the available values in a particular array
rsort($array1);
// Print the all values in reverse order with their positions in the array.
print_r($array1);

Implode and Explode are the other functions we've to see in the Array Functions PHP Essential Training. The Implode is used to insert a special character or any other character in between the values (packets) of the array.
// Implode or insert the character inside the array values
$string1 = implode(" * ", $array1);
echo "Implode: " . $string1;
Array Functions PHP Essential Training
The explode is an opposite for the implode function. It is just replace the characters affected by the implode function
// Explode the character from the array values
$string1 = implode(" * ", $array1);
// Again it converts the implode into normal array functions
print_r(explode(" * ", $string1));
Array Functions PHP Essential Training
The last array function in Array Functions PHP Essential Training is the in_array function. It is a function used to check whether the particular value is available or not in the array.
// Check inside the array for the variables are available or not
echo "Avail or Not: " . in_array(12, $array1);
